Mrs B's Last Day!

Today is Mrs B's last day with Room 15.  It's a bit sad but we're really excited about having Miss Inger as our teacher.  Mrs B is leaving to have a baby.  In the middle block we chose all the things that we really enjoy doing in Room 15 and spent that time doing them.  We played on the playground, played Octopus and Pacman on the courts, played Silent Ball and had some time on the iPad, Activboard and computers.

Leal - Don't give out other peoples personal information
Leah - Use a nickname
Livvie - Don't be bribed in to giving information you don't want to give

100 Days at School

Every time we do our Maths Wall we count how many days we've been at school.  Recently we hit the 100 mark.  On Monday we immersed ourselves in the number 100 and celebrated! We took part in 100 challenges, wrote a 100th day newspaper, completed art using the digits 1 0 0, did some 100 board math problems and had a 100 lolly lolly scramble.  It was such a fun day!

Room 15's Class Disco

Last Friday Mrs B covered the windows, hooked up the party lights and moved the furniture for a super class disco.  This was our chosen reward for those students who's remembered to hand their homework book in on Friday on a consistent basis.  Those who had done it every week got a a glow stick too! We had a few dancing competitions, a dance stage and even played musical statues.  It was great fun!

Class Captains Week 3 Term 3

LED Text Scroller

Plays!

This term for reading we have been working on performing plays in our groups.  Our SC was to develop our fluency and expression.  Each group was given a play to learn and they had to decide what props they'd need and how they would act out their parts.  Today was performance day! Well done to all reading groups who did themselves proud showcasing their acting talents.  I thoroughly enjoyed watching you all.  Here's a few snapshots of the event.
